random hospital new baby pics 2

my new favorite pasttime -- he is SOO snuggly. I like taking a nap
with him on my chest. He likes it too, and not just with me. Monique
got up the other night at like 11pm and fell asleep with him on her
chest, only to wake up at like 2am. So soft and fuzzy.

So, this mailing list is technically titled "Sage". I plan to send out pictures of the new baby on this list as well. Please, let me know if this is just too much, and I can remove you from the list. --J

Sage helped get Rohin dressed before we left the hospital -- she had fun with it, and insisted that he wear his new shoes that she picked out for him..

PS: Did I mention that Rohin come out blue? He looked like a piece of blueberry pie. Luckily that went away quickly@!

it's a boy!

I'm pleased to announce the birth of Rohin Miles Collis. Mom and baby are both healthy and doing great. He was born in Falmouth today (4.2.08) at 2:22 PM, (EST), weighing 9 lbs 6.3 ounces, 21.75 inches long. Based on the color of his eyebrows, looks as though he'll have blonde hair. (photos attached, my hand for perspective)

Notable comments of the day:

Nurse (waking us up this morning, after we (accidentally) slept in): "You guys ready to get started?"

Monique: "Wow, that was a lot easier the second time."

Sage (after being introduced to her brother): "I like girls better."

We should head home from the hospital tomorrow or Friday, Jon
